Ecotex® Screen Printing Discharge Activator

Ecotex® Screen Printing Discharge Activator by Screen Print Direct® can be used to discharge water-based and plastisol inks with an additive.

Stir in 3-5% depending on weight, and mix well. Different percentages of the activator will affect the discharge results; increase or decrease depending on the desired results. Mix only enough for current production requirements. Activated ink should be used within 8 hours.

For best results follow the steps below.

Mixing Information:

• Water-based printing: Our ink can be used straight out of the bottle as a traditional water-based ink. We recommend only doing this technique on light color garments.
• Water-based discharge printing: This ink can also be used as a discharge ink by adding the discharge powder. When using as a discharge ink, add enough discharge powder to the amount of ink you need for the print run. This will be somewhere in between 3-5% by weight. Mix thoroughly to make sure no chunks or grains are visible. Once the powder is added to the ink it will last for 8 hours.
• Plastisol discharge printing: This product will discharge plastisol ink if used with Plastisol Discharge Additive. 
• Activate just enough ink for the job at hand.
