Ecotex® Screen Printing Emulsion Hardener by Screen Print Direct® – Use Ecotex® Emulsion Hardener to create a stronger stencil that is more resistant to water-based and discharge inks. Ecotex® Emulsion Hardener can also be used to create a longer-lasting screen for use in high production automatic printing. Reclaiming hardened emulsion can be difficult but when you use the right product it can make the job a whole lot easier, try our Ecotex® Screen Printing Emulsion Remover to get the job done.

For best results follow the steps below:

1. Make sure emulsion has been properly exposed, washed out, and completely dry.

2. Using a sponge, non-abrasive pad or rag apply Emulsion Hardener to both sides of the screen generously.

3. Allow the hardener enough time to evaporate and dry completely on the screen. Do not accelerate the drying process with a fan, to get a good result you should allow the screen to dry for 24 hours before use.

Quick Tip:

When using Emulsion Hardener, the stencil may become stronger and harder to remove. A stronger emulsion remover solution may be required along with a pressure washer for reclaim.
