How to Use Color Mixing System to Make any Color in the Pantone Book!

1. Go to https://www.pantone-colours.com/

2. Select a color from the Pantone Book 

3. Enter this number into our mixing program found here https://screenprintcms.com/

4. Make sure you have selected the right ink system (plastisol or water-based) and input how much ink you would like to make ex. 100grams 

5. Press the Customize Color Button 

6. Tada! You now have your custom formula to make your desired Pantone Color

Low-temperature cure inks are ideal for polyesters because the low cure temp prevents dye migration and garment scorching. The short body texture Rapid Cure allows the user to spread ink without a stringy mess from container to press, it also makes clean-up easier.

Flash and Curing Guidelines:

• • Cure at 132° C/270° F
  • Flash at 82-104° C/180-200°F

Clean-Up:

• • On the press: Ecotex® Plastisol Press Wash/Ink Degradant
  • In the sink: Ecotex® Plastisol Screen Wash/Ink Degradant

General Testing:  Before you do any large print, we recommend doing a stretch test and a wash test to ensure you cured and printed correctly before going into production. Increase cure time if testing fails. We recommend only using natural fibers best results will be seen on 100% cotton.

✔️Pro Tips: Plastisol inks do not dye fabric like traditional inks. Plastisol inks wrap around the fibers and make a mechanical bond with the fabric. Store plastisol inks at room temperature. Prolonged exposure to temperatures above 90º F (32º C) can cause the ink to start to cure while it's still in the container.
