Rapid Cure Screen Printing Foil Adhesive by Screen Print Direct® is a clear plastisol adhesive created to adhere foil to textiles. This screen printing adhesive can be printed directly to fabric or onto the foil and used as a transfer. Rapid Cure Screen Printing Foil Adhesive can be used on cotton and poly blends, dark or light, straight from the container.

For cleanup, we recommend Ecotex® Screen Printing Plastisol Press Wash/Ink Degradant.

How to Use:

Foil Adhesive is applied like you would apply a plastisol ink. Apply ink to the platen and then pull/push ink through the mesh. Once foil adhesive is applied to your garment, it is time to heat press the foil. Place foil over the print area and cover it with a piece of PTFE paper. Pull the heat press down and press for approx. 15 seconds at 270°. Let the foil sit for approx 15 seconds after pressing before slowly/carefully peeling off the foil sheet from the garment.

WOW!!! Amazing product.

This foil adhesive is impressive; but! Yes there’s a but (there’s always a but) ok so this is not an easy product to use there’s also a learning curve. (depending on you) Also with the limited equipment I have; I have to improvise, so I do not get the same level of heat needed to properly cure this product; and so I have found to need more heat for a proper cure. I am also using a brand of foil that may not be the best match for this product as well. (Not sure) But again that is me in my situation I do not own a heat press which would cure properly at the designated heat level. If you’re a creative, and these things don’t scare you; try this out you’ll be impressed.
